Text

Section 19. The district attorney for the Suffolk district may appoint a messenger and such stenographers, telephone operators and other office assistants as in his opinion the interests of the commonwealth require. The compensation of any person appointed hereunder shall be paid by the commonwealth, and any such person may be removed by said district attorney at his pleasure.
