Section 4G. The department shall establish, in one or more institutions under its control, a program for the care, treatment and medical rehabilitation of persons suffering from epilepsy and shall disseminate such information relative to the management of convulsive disorders as it considers proper. The department may accept for such purposes and for research into the causes of convulsive disorders any special grant of money, services or property from the federal government or any of its agencies or from any foundation, organization or medical school.[ Second paragraph effective until September 12, 2024.
