Section 5. Each license issued by the deputy director shall bear a number, shall be valid for one year from the date of its issuance, may be renewed upon application to the deputy director on a form provided by him, shall not be transferable, and may be exercised only by the licensee; provided, however, that the licensee may employ agents to conduct auctioneering under licensee's immediate direction and control.
