Section 8A. He shall receive from the United States all sums of money payable to the commonwealth under any act of congress, providing for co-operation in the prevention of forest fires, by way of reimbursement for sums expended by the commonwealth on account of such prevention, or otherwise, and any sums allotted to the commonwealth for the purpose of protecting, preserving or developing its woodlands.
