Text

A. A property owner must be notified of the privilege created by this Part before enforcement of the privilege by a marina owner. Notification of the privilege created by this Part is satisfied by:

(1)Written storage agreement. A written rental agreement signed by the property owner that includes a notice of the privilege created by this Part; or
(2)Written notice of privilege. Written notification of the privilege sent by the marina owner to the property owner. B. A marina owner who does not have a written rental agreement that includes a notice of the privilege created by this Part may not initiate an enforcement action under R.S. 9:4784 until thirty days after the written notice of a privilege required by Paragraph (A)(2) of this Section is delivered to the property owner.
