§949. Savings and demand accounts of capital stock savings and loan associations and capital stock savings banks as legal investments
Notwithstanding and irrespective of any provisions of Titles 6, 39, or 49 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, or any other statute, law, rule, or regulation to the contrary, banks, trust companies, the state of Louisiana, its agencies, boards, commissions, and departments, the state treasurer of state funds standing in the name of the state treasurer, political subdivisions of the state and other public bodies existing under the constitution and laws of the state of Louisiana, any state depositing authority, any local depositing authority, any parish, or any political subdivisions of any parish, and any city, town, or village, or any political subdivi
