A.

(1)Pursuant to the provisions of the bylaws, the board of directors may appoint, or the members may elect, a supervisory committee. The supervisory committee shall at frequent intervals inspect the securities, cash, and accounts of the credit union and supervise the acts of the board of directors, credit committee, and officers, any or all of whom the supervisory committee may suspend at any time by unanimous vote. Within seven days after such a suspension, the supervisory committee shall cause notice to be given to the members and the commissioner of a special meeting to take action on the suspension, the call for the meeting to indicate clearly its purpose.
