§ 6:293 — Actions against directors and officers of banks and bank holding companies

A.No action for damages against any director or officer of a bank or bank holding company for breach of the director's or officer's contract with the bank or bank holding company in the capacity of director or officer, or for breach of his duty as a director or officer, including, without limitation, action for gross negligence, but excluding any action covered by the provisions of Subsection B, shall be brought unless filed in a court of competent jurisdiction and proper venue within one year from the date of the alleged act, omission, or neglect, or within one year from the date that the alleged act, omission, or neglect is discovered or should have been discovered; however, even as to actions filed within one year from the date of such discovery, in all events such actions shall be fil
