§214.8.1. Purpose
The provisions of this Subpart are intended to establish an Atchafalaya Basin
Program within the Coastal Protection and Restoration Authority to serve as the authority on
behalf of the state to work in partnership with the United States Army Corps of Engineers
and other public entities, and coordinate state and local activities, in developing and
implementing the federally sponsored and funded Atchafalaya Basin Floodway System,
Louisiana Project.
