A.
(1)All interstate motor carriers registered with the Interstate Commerce Commission which operate on the highways shall bear the name or trade name of the motor carrier under whose authority the vehicle is being operated. Such a name or trade name shall be placed on the outside of both truck doors and may be placed thereon by any means permitted by R.S. 32:651.
(2)All other trucks operated on the highways shall bear the name and address or equivalent identification of the owner or lessee. Such a name and address shall be placed on the outside of both truck doors and may be placed thereon by any means permitted by R.S. 32:651.
