Text

A. The secretary of the Department of Public Safety and Corrections shall establish special prestige license plates for passenger cars, pickup trucks, recreational vehicles, and vans which plates may be issued upon application to members in good standing with the Louisiana Notary Association. B. The secretary shall determine the design of the plate issued under the provisions of this Section, provided such design shall bear the logo of the Louisiana Notary Association on the left side of the plate and the phrase "Civil Law Notary" below the license plate number. C. The charge for the special license plate shall be the regular motor vehicle registration license fee. D. The procedure for issuing the prestige plate shall be as follows:

(1)The applicant shall make application and pay the fee
