§337.8. Prohibited exemptions; specific application required A. After any sales tax revenue bonds of any local governmental subdivision, as defined in Article VI, Section 44(1) of the Louisiana Constitution, or any school board have been authorized, no sales tax exemptions created after the authorization of those bonds shall apply to the sales and use tax dedicated as security for said bonds. B.

(1)No exemption from state sales and use tax enacted or granted after July 1, 2003, and before January 1, 2025, shall be applicable to the sales and use tax imposed by local taxing authorities unless the exemption expressly states within its statutory language that it applies to sales and use taxes imposed by local taxing authorities.
