Educational leaves with pay; federal funds The secretary of the Department of Children and Family Services and Louisiana Department of Health may grant educational leave with pay to an employee of the department in compliance with federal administrative rules and federal laws that allow federal matching funds to be used in further educating employees of the Department of Children and Family Services and Louisiana Department of Health in the various states.
