§1191. Legislative intent
It is the intent of the legislature to allow the governing authority of the parish or the
governing authorities of parishes that are located within the Louisiana Department of Health's
Region IV, upon their own initiative, to form and create a healthcare service district to
support the provision of inpatient and outpatient healthcare services within the Louisiana
Department of Health's Region IV.
