A.

(1)Not less than ten days prior to doing business in this state, a telephonic seller shall register with the department by filing with the consumer protection section of the department the information required by R.S. 45:824 and tendering a filing fee of one hundred fifty dollars. A seller shall be deemed to be doing business in this state if the seller solicits prospective purchasers from locations in this state or solicits prospective purchasers who are located in this state.
(2)A person claiming an exemption pursuant to R.S. 45:822(B)(14), shall file* with the consumer protection section of the department, in lieu of the information required by R.S. 45:824(A), (B), and (C) and a filing fee of one hundred fifty dollars.
