Text

Any street railroad corporation or interurban railroad corporation or the receiver or lessee, president or manager where the railway is domiciled and doing business in Louisiana, which violates the provisions of R.S. 45:691, shall be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than two hundred dollars, or imprisoned for not less than thirty days nor more than one hundred days, or both. Each day's violation shall constitute a separate offense. In the event of violation, suit may be brought against the offending firms or persons by the Attorney General or by the parish or district attorney in any parish, in or through which such line of street or interurban railroad may be operated.
