Text

The bonds of public officers shall be accepted by the parish recorder, the clerk of the district court, and the president of the police jury, or any two of them, in the absence of the third, within thirty days from the date of his commission, and before entering upon his duties. This shall apply in all the parishes except in the city of New Orleans, where that duty shall be performed by the recorder of mortgages.
