§ 41:728 — St. Tammany Parish School Board; unused school lands; sell, exchange, disposition; proceeds

A.Notwithstanding any other law to the contrary, whenever the St. Tammany Parish School Board, on behalf of the state of Louisiana, determines that any unused school lands, including but not limited to sixteenth section lands, indemnity for school lands, or other immovable property located in St. Tammany Parish and as more specifically described in any agreements entered into and documents executed by the St. Tammany Parish School Board, are no longer needed for school purposes and that the best interests of the St. Tammany Parish school system would be served by the sale, exchange, or other disposition of the property, the St. Tammany Parish School Board shall have authority to order the disposition of such sixteenth section lands, indemnity for school lands, or other immovable property
