§981. Distribution to persons under age eighteen

A.Any person who is at least twenty-five years of age or more who violates R.S. 40:966 or 967 by distributing a substance listed in Schedule I or II that is a narcotic drug to a person under eighteen years of age shall, upon conviction, be punished by imprisonment at hard labor for not less than ten nor more than thirty years.
B.Any person who is at least eighteen years of age who violates R.S. 40:966 or 967 by distributing a substance listed in Schedule I or II that is a narcotic drug to a person under eighteen years of age who is at least three years his junior shall, upon conviction, be punished by a term of imprisonment of not less than five nor more than thirty years.
C.Any person who is at least eighteen years of age who violates R.
