§ 40:454 — Private cooperation and assistance

A local housing authority may:

(1)Borrow money and accept grants and other forms of assistance, financial and otherwise, from private persons or entities in furtherance of the purposes of this Chapter except as expressly otherwise provided under this Chapter.
(2)Agree to and comply with all otherwise lawful requirements and conditions attached to the provisions of such assistance.
(3)Enter into contracts, agreements, joint ventures, partnerships, and arrangements of every kind and description with private persons and entities, nonprofit or for-profit, to acquire, create, manage, or operate housing developments, including, without limitation, mixed-income housing developments and housing developments benefitting persons of eligible income as defined in R.S. 40:384(21)(c), to supply servi
