§ 40:3 — State health officer; powers

§3. State health officer; powers The state health officer shall at all times take all necessary steps to execute the sanitary laws of the state and to carry out the rules, ordinances, and regulations as contained in the state sanitary code. He may issue warrants only to arrest or prevent epidemics or to abate any imminent menace to the public health.
