§ 40:2188 — Refusal, revocation, or suspension of license; imposition of fine; appeal procedure

Upon the refusal of the department to grant a license as provided in this Part, or upon the revocation or suspension of a license, or the imposition of a fine, the agency, institution, corporation, person, or other group affected by such action shall have the right to appeal such action by submitting a written request to the secretary of the department within thirty days after receipt of the notification of the refusal, revocation, suspension of a license, or imposition of a fine. The appeal hearings shall take place no later than thirty days after the request therefor, and shall be conducted in accordance with applicable regulations of the department and the provisions of R.S. 46:107, et seq. This provision shall in no way preclude any party aggrieved by any act or inaction of the departm
