§ 40:2 — State health officer

§2. State health officer The surgeon general appointed by the governor shall serve as the state health officer. The surgeon general shall collaborate with the secretary on any order, rule, or regulation issued by the state health officer. Any order, rule, or regulation issued by the state health officer shall be effective upon signature.
