§1894. Enforcement of Part; rules and regulations The office of conservation of the Department of Conservation and Energy shall enforce the provisions of this Part. The assistant secretary of the office of conservation may prescribe any rules and regulations on this subject necessary to carry out the purposes of this Part. In addition to the rights, powers, and duties granted under this Part, the assistant secretary shall exercise relative to this Part all of the rights, powers, and duties granted under R.S. 30:501 et seq.; however, the provisions of R.S. 30:544 shall not apply to this Part.
