§1300.12. Permits

A.In parishes with a population of less than two hundred thousand the governing authority may, by ordinance, provide for the regulation and issuance of permits for mass meetings in the interest of public health and safety. Such ordinance may specify objective and reasonable standards which may be necessary to protect the public health or safety including requirements that the permit be conditioned on the applicant furnishing a bond of an amount up to one hundred thousand dollars issued by a surety company authorized to transact business in the State of Louisiana to guarantee full compliance with the ordinance under which the permit was issued as well as the other laws of this state. The bond shall also cover expenses of the cleanup of the site as well as all damages sust
