A.The office, when applicable, and the governing authority of any municipality or parish issuing any license under this Chapter shall regulate all games of chance held, operated, or conducted under such license issued by it, to assure that they are fairly held, operated, and conducted in accordance with the provisions of the license, the provisions of this Chapter, and the rules promulgated and adopted pursuant to the provisions of R.S. 4:705(10)(b). The issuing authority may suspend or revoke any license issued by it for violation of any such provision, and its officers and agents may enter and inspect any premises where any such game of chance is being held, operated, and conducted or is intended to be held, operated, and conducted, or where any equipment is being used or intended to be
