§284. Functions of corporation There is hereby authorized the formation and incorporation of a public nonprofit corporation to be known as the "Louisiana Equestrian Corporation". The corporation shall have its principal place of business in an appropriate municipality or parish. The purpose and functions of the corporation shall be as follows:
(1)To promote the rich history, heritage, and culture of equestrian training in
Louisiana.
(2)To stimulate the equestrian training heritage of this state.
(3)To encourage economic development resulting from the promotion of equestrian
training in this state.
(4)To increase opportunities for employment in this state.
(5)To promote equestrian research in this state.
(6)To encourage development of immovable property for equestrian activities.
