§2352. Definitions As used in this Chapter, the following terms shall have the meanings ascribed to them:
(1)"Integrated" means the coordinated planning, funding, construction, and
operation of flood control, navigation, recreation, water management, and economic
development projects to ensure efficient use of resources, minimize conflicts, and promote
sustainable development.
(2)"Upland area" means all land in the state of Louisiana that is not included within
the coastal area as defined in R.S. 49:214.2.
(3)"Upland parishes" means all parishes of the state, in whole or in part, that are not
included within the coastal area as defined in R.S. 49:214.2. These areas are primarily
affected by riverine flooding, watershed management, inland navigation, and flood control
infrastructure rath
