§3663. Military medical personnel; pilot program A.
(1)The department, in collaboration with each state agency or professional or
occupational licensing board or commission that regulates the practice of a healthcare
profession, shall establish a pilot program in which military medical personnel may practice
and perform certain delegated acts that constitute healthcare services under the supervision
of a physician or podiatrist who holds an active, unrestricted license in Louisiana. The
activities shall reflect the level of training and experience of the military medical personnel.
(2)The supervising physician or podiatrist shall retain responsibility for the care of
the patient.
