§1554. Discipline of CAETS A. After a hearing held in compliance with the Administrative Procedure Act, the board may deny, suspend, or revoke the certificate of approval held by any technician or impose any other penalty authorized by this Chapter when it finds that the provisions of this Chapter or any of the rules and regulations adopted by the board are not being complied with or upon the grounds that the certified animal euthanasia technician has:

(1)Failed to carry out his duties.
(2)Abused the use of sodium pentobarbital or any controlled dangerous substance under state or federal law.
(3)Sold or given sodium pentobarbital or any controlled dangerous substance under state or federal law for recreational use.
