§ 37:1543 — Application

§1543. Application A. In order to obtain a certificate of approval as a registered veterinary technician, the applicant shall comply with the following provisions:

(1)The applicant shall submit an application to the board at least thirty days prior to the announced date of the examination.
(2)The applicant shall submit evidence of the applicant's good moral character.
(3)The applicant shall submit evidence that he:
(a)Has obtained a high school diploma or its equivalent.
(b)(i) Has successfully completed a program in veterinary technology which is accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association, or
(ii)Has successfully completed a board-approved program in veterinary technology at an accredited institution of higher education and has two years actual experience working in a
