Text

A. Any person who shall practice veterinary medicine without a currently valid license or temporary permit shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction shall be fined not less than fifty dollars nor more than five hundred dollars, or imprisoned for no more than ninety days, or both, and each act of such unlawful practice shall constitute a distinct and separate offense. B.

(1)In addition to any other civil remedy or criminal penalty provided for in this Chapter, the board may, by majority vote, issue a subpoena to any person or persons who the board has probable cause to believe has engaged in the practice of veterinary medicine without a currently valid license or temporary permit.
