A.Where the annual renewal fee required by R.S. 37:1056(1) is not paid on or before the first day of March, a delinquency fee of one hundred fifty dollars shall be imposed. Failure to submit satisfactory evidence of compliance with the continuing education requirement on or before the first day of July shall provide a basis for the temporary suspension of a Louisiana optometry license. Satisfactory evidence of compliance with the continuing education requirement provided to the board after the first day of July of each renewal year where the license has been suspended shall be accompanied by the one hundred fifty dollar delinquency fee, the one hundred fifty dollar reinstatement fee, as well as any cost or expenses, including attorney fees, which may be caused by the need for the institution of disciplinary proceedings, fines imposed in disciplinary proceedings, and all other applicable fees, including a license reinstatement fee.
