§2351. Creation of Grant Parish Port Commission A. There is hereby created a commission to be known as the Grant Parish Port Commission. It shall be composed of five members, who shall serve without compensation and who shall be appointed as follows:

(1)Two of the commissioners shall be appointed by the governing authority of the parish of Grant;
(2)Two of the commissioners shall be appointed by the governing authority of the town of Colfax;
(3)One commissioner shall be appointed directly by the governor of the State of Louisiana. B. One of the two commissioners initially appointed by the governing authority of the parish of Grant shall serve for one year.
