§ 33:4719 — Transfer of administration of public property to state

Whenever, in the opinion of the governing authority of any parish or municipality, any real property being administered by such parish or municipality under authority of any general or special law, including buildings, parks, amusement facilities, or any other real property, dedicated to public use, exclusive of streets and sidewalks, could be administered to the greater advantage of the public by the state, or any department or agency thereof, the governing authority of such parish or municipality shall have the power to authorize by ordinance the transfer of the administration of such property to the state of Louisiana, or any department or agency thereof; provided, the state of Louisiana, or the department or agency concerned has manifested its consent to accept the said transfer by app
