§ 33:3966 — Plans and specifications; advertisement for bids; publication

The governing authority of such district or sub-district, after having given notice of its intention as above set forth and after having decided to order the construction of such improvement, may without further delay have the necessary plans and specifications for said work prepared and adopt a resolution or ordinance authorizing the advertisement for bids therefor by the giving of notice calling for sealed bids for the construction of said work, such notice to be signed by the governing authority and approved by the governing authority of the municipality in which said district or sub-district is located and shall be published for three consecutive weeks in a newspaper in the district or sub-district, and if there be none published therein, then in some newspaper of general circulation i
