§2740.70.4. North Lake Charles Economic Development District A.

(1)There is hereby created in the city of Lake Charles a body politic and corporate which shall be known as the North Lake Charles Economic Development District, referred to in this Section as the "district".
(2)The district shall be a special district created pursuant to Article VI, Section 19 of the Constitution of Louisiana and political subdivision of the state as defined in Article VI, Section 44 of the Constitution of Louisiana.
