Text

A. Creation.

(1)There is hereby created within East Baton Rouge Parish the Florida Boulevard Economic Development District, also referred to in this Section as the "district". The district shall be a special district and political subdivision of the state created to plan and facilitate the revitalization of the residential and commercial areas within the district.
(2)The district shall include the area within the following boundaries: beginning at the intersection of Florida Boulevard and North Foster Drive, north along North Foster Drive to its intersection with Greenwell Springs Road, then northeast along Greenwell Springs Road to its intersection with Airline Highway, then southeast along Airline Highway to its intersection with South Choctaw Drive, then east along South Choctaw Drive
