§140.7. Area of jurisdiction
The area of jurisdiction of the commission shall be the metropolitan planning area
as defined in this Subpart. In its planning, the commission may take into consideration and
may make plans for such other area as, in its judgment bears relation to the metropolitan
planning area, but the plans for such other area shall not by reason of this Subpart have any
legal or official status.
