§140.50.16. Commission as platting authority
After the commission has recommended and the town council and the police jury
have adopted a master plan in whole or in part, no plat of a subdivision of land lying within
the area covered by such plan shall be filed or recorded until it has been submitted to and
approved by the commission and such approval entered in writing on the plat by the secretary
of the commission. The clerk of court and recorder shall not file or record a plat of a
subdivision without the approval of the commission as required by this Subpart; a plat of a
subdivision filed or recorded without the approval of the commission as required by this
Section is void.
