A.The joint agreement and any ordinance adopted pursuant thereto may provide and specify general rules to govern procedure for granting exceptions or variances under this Section which rules shall not be inconsistent with the provisions of this Subpart.
B.The zoning ordinance may provide that the planning commission may permit special exceptions to the zoning regulations in the classes of cases or situations and in accordance with the principles, conditions, safeguards, and procedures specified in the ordinance and grant special exceptions, provide interpretations of the map, and make decisions upon other special questions as specified in the ordinance.
