Text

A. Any parishes or municipalities concluding an agreement under the provisions of this Part may create by resolutions duly adopted by the governing bodies thereof a joint commission as an agency and instrumentality of such parishes or municipalities to administer the terms of such agreement. B.

(1)The members of such commission shall be appointed by the respective participating parishes or municipalities, but no member of a parish governing authority or employee thereof shall serve as a member of a joint commission that has as its function the operation and maintenance of a causeway and its related roadways, created by the parish by agreement with one or more other parishes.
(2)Members of the joint commission shall receive such compensation for services performed by virtue of such appoint
