Text

A. The commission may incur debt for any one or more of its lawful purposes set forth in this Subpart, to issue in its name negotiable bonds, notes, certificates of indebtedness, or other evidences of debt and to provide for the security and payment thereof. B.

(1)The commission may in its own name and behalf incur debt and issue general obligation ad valorem property tax secured bonds under the authority of and subject to the provisions of Article VI, Section 33 of the Constitution of Louisiana, Subpart A of Part III of Chapter 4 of Subtitle II of Title 39 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes of 1950, when approved by a majority of the qualified voters within the jurisdiction of the commission who vote in an election called and conducted under the authority of the Louisiana Election Code, in
