Text

A.

(1)The district shall be governed by a board of commissioners consisting of seven voting members as provided by this Subsection. The initial term shall be two years. At the termination of the initial terms of office each term thereafter shall be for three years. A board member may succeed himself.
(2)(a) One member shall be appointed by the Hopkins Street Revitalization Association, Incorporated.
(b)One member shall be appointed by the Southwest Leadership Training and Development Association.
(c)One member shall be appointed by the Iberia Parish Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.
(d)The state representative, or his designee, from the state representative district that includes all or a majority of the Hopkins Street Economic Development Distri
