Text

A. The district shall be governed by a board consisting of eight members as follows:

(1)The mayor of the town of Clayton.
(2)The mayor of the town of Ferriday.
(3)The mayor of the town of Ridgecrest.
(4)The mayor of the town of Vidalia.
(5)The president of the Concordia Parish Police Jury.
(6)Three at-large members appointed by the Concordia Parish Police Jury, one of whom shall be a resident of Ward 5 from the unincorporated area of Monterey. B.
(1)In the event that any of the mayors of the towns of Clayton, Ferriday, Ridgecrest, or Vidalia are unable to serve on the board, the governing authority of the respective municipality shall appoint a member to the board.
