Text
The police jury of the parish of St. Bernard shall have the power, authority, and jurisdiction to accept the beneficial interest in a public trust or trusts created pursuant to R.S. 9:2341 through 9:2347, inclusive, for public purposes or functions, including, but not limited to housing development mortgage loans, long-term capital financing, and related services, activities, facilities and properties, and provide for other matters in connection therewith. The police jury acting as the governing authority of the parish of St. Bernard shall also have the power to issue home mortgage revenue bonds for the aforesaid purposes on behalf of and in the name of the parish in the manner provided by R.S. 9:2341 through 9:2347, inclusive; however, the full faith and credit of the parish shall not be
