§1236.30. St. Tammany Parish; testing of water systems for secondary contaminants
A.As used in this Section, "secondary contaminant" means a substance for which
secondary maximum contaminant levels are established in the National Secondary Drinking
Water Regulations of the Environmental Protection Agency, 40 CFR Part 143.
B.The governing authority of St. Tammany Parish may require that water systems
in the parish test for secondary contaminants in the drinking water that is distributed to parish
residents.
