§ 30:2019 — Promulgation of rules and regulations

§2019. Promulgation of rules and regulations A. The procedure for the adoption, amendment, or repeal of any rule or regulation shall be in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act, R.S. 49:950 et seq. B. A rule or regulation or any amendment thereof may differ in its terms and provisions as between particular conditions, sources, and areas of the state. C. Except for R.S. 49:962, promulgation of rules or regulations requiring a permit, license, or compliance schedule of a previously unregulated industry or practice shall not be initiated prior to a public hearing being held. Such hearing shall be held in accordance with the Administrative Procedure Act. D.
