Compensation payable to tutors or curators shall be based upon services rendered and they shall receive a minimum compensation of thirty-five dollars from the amount of monies received during the period covered by the account; provided however that if such monies received are more than three hundred and fifty dollars but less than five hundred dollars, the compensation of tutors and curators shall be ten per cent of the monies received in any one year; and provided also that if such monies are more than five hundred dollars, then the compensation shall be five per cent of the monies received in any one year, but not less than fifty dollars.
