§262. Service offices; suitable office space
Police juries and municipal governing authorities shall provide and be responsible
for suitable and professional office space for the operation of veterans' service offices
established pursuant to R.S. 29:261. Each office space shall be located in a safe and
accommodating environment, be free of necessary repairs, and have restroom facilities.
However, the cost of providing such office space shall not be considered as any payment or
contribution required of a police jury or municipal governing authority toward the expense
of operation and maintenance of such service offices.
